The winter months have been full! Full of family fun, school, ministry, travel and preparation. We are excited about what the Lord is doing in us and through us in these days.
Family Update
Our daughter Eden is now 10 years old and Zion has officially turned 13. We are parents of a teenager!!! Josiah has been playing 12U YMCA basketball and Ariel is keeping things crazy as usual. Maria is continuing to educate our kids with diligence and excellence, while also preparing our home for the up and coming move. As of right now, everything is on schedule as planned. Maria and I will be flying to Puerto Rico in mid-April to look for a rental home. Once we secure a place to live we can more adequately set the move date, but for now we are hoping to move into our new residence on June 1st.
We had the great joy of spending time with some friends from our days at One Savior Church and we just recently returned from a trip to Michigan where we got to be with extended family on Maria's side. We're deeply grateful for the friendships that continue to be a blessing to our family!
Please pray that the Lord will bless us with a home that will help our family thrive throughout this transition.
Please pray that our minds and hearts will remain at rest in Christ as we navigate many, often overwhelming, details.
Ministry Update
I've had multiple speaking opportunities as of late. I just returned from Lansing, MI where I was the guest speaker and worship leader for FBC Bellevue's Ice N' Easy retreat. It's Maria's home church from her teenage years and they are a partnering church with us in our endeavor to plant a church in Puerto Rico. It was good to not only minister to the church but to spend a good bit of time with Maria's family. Our kids had a blast with all their cousins. I chose to speak on Spiritual Renewal by laying out the process for Christian change.
We continue to serve at Gospel Hope as we prepare for our move in just a few months. The Lord is providing for our needs! We've still got a good portion of fund-raising to go but we are encouraged by the generous partnerships that the Lord is bringing into our lives. Here's a recent video that shares a bit of our vision for Aguadilla, Puerto Rico.
I was also given the opportunity to speak at Gospel Hope Church just a few weeks ago. If you'd like to listen to the sermon you can do so below.
Pray for me as I'm attempting to keep my head above water with the many varied details of life. Seminary classes, worship ministry and preparation for church planting in Puerto Rico are all increasing in expectations on my time and energy.
Thank you so much for your prayer and support! We could not do what we are doing without you. May the peace of Christ be with you!
